Waist Deep In Shark Bay! Beach Launching On A Changing Tide!

Fishing and camping at one of the best places we've visited in Australia yet!

Where do we start?! We had driven into Shark Bay on a Sunday afternoon, exhausted and ready to find a place to call home for the night; nuh uh!
We found out the hard way that you're supposed to pre-pay and book all campsites to the south of Denham prior to your arrival, because of this, we thought bugger it, let's just keep driving.. and It was the BEST decision we'd ever made.

Watch on as we rip into our first day at Herald Bight, located at the North Eastern side of the Francois Peron National Park, of Shark Bay.

Due to having the boat, and requiring a boat launch friendly beach, we had to decide between Bottle Bay and Herald Bight, but the howling South Westerly wind made that decision very easy for us!

Being from the southern end of Western Australia, big tide changes are new to us, not rushing to get the boat into the water and trying to make sure everything went smoothly into our trip was a big priority for us.

We timed everything perfectly and made the most of our first day here.
The weather was average but the motivation was there and it paid off.

What a magical way to be introduced to what would be our next 2 nights as we took in one of the most amazing places Australia has to offer.
