Italia Solare Presents: The Latest Developments in the Italian Solar PV Market | Solarplaza Webinar

Solarplaza hosted a free webinar on 24 May, featuring Paolo Rocco Viscontini, the founder and current president of the Italian solar association, Italia Solare. During the webinar, Mr. Viscontini provided an update on the Italian Solar PV market, which - by installing 2.48 GW of solar photovoltaic capacity - reached a cumulative solar capacity of just above 25 GW by the end of 2022.

While this is a significant increase from the previous year, it still falls short of the country's 2030 objectives, highlighting the need for urgent interventions such as simplifications for large-scale plants and support for easier access to bank financing for businesses.
