**********************************ABOUT THE SERIES**************************************
Join me on my most ambitious project to date as I work towards creating the definitive list: London's 100 Most Beautiful Streets!

The genesis for the project came after a disappointing Google search for the 10 most beautiful streets in London. What did I find? Over a dozen blogs listing a bunch of unconvincing and mostly unimpressive "Instagrammable" streets from various tourists who simply don't know the city like a local does. Having lived and breathed London for 10 years across multiple bases (flats, jobs and... well, ex-girlfriends' flats) I feel a responsibility to show the world where the beauty really lies in the UK's capital.
The plan is as follows: upload 100 or more walks of streets which I feel belong on the list in no particular order. After this comes the challenge where I assemble them in order and present the list to the world.
Having sunk some serious hours in already, I have a shortlist of just over 100 streets for consideration. I must stress, if you have suggestions for streets you'd like to see then please discuss in the comments below. I respond to almost all comments! I will take likes/dislikes as a form of feedback as well, of course. Plus if you have friends and family who love London, by all means share the videos! I could use all the feedback I can get. :)

On the north bank of the Thames and over 1.25 miles/2km long lies Victoria Embankment.
Spanning not one, not two, but three postcode prefixes - specifically SW1, WC2 and EC4, if you've visited London there is a very high chance you'll have walked down at least a stretch of Victoria Embankment.
We start at the eastern side near Blackfriars Bridge and head west, finishing by Westminster Bridge. About halfway in we see Cleopatra's Needle which an Egyptian obelisk commemorating the victories of Lord Nelson at the Battle of the Nile and Sir Ralph Abercromby at the Battle of Alexandria. At the westernmost end we see the Boadicea and Her Daughters statue, representing Boudica, queen of Celtic Iceni tribe, who led an uprising in Roman Britain.
TIMESTAMPS:
0:00 - Victoria Embankment
4:18 - Temple Station
7:32 - Waterloo Bridge
9:42 - Cleopatra's Needle
12:10 - Golden Jubilee Bridge
14:01 - Whitehall Gardens
19:30 - Boadicea and Her Daughters statue
Filmed: June 2020
