How Elden Ring's Golden Eyes ACTUALLY work

It could be hiding in the distance or under someone helmet.
With the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC not far from now it would be a good time to look at the rarest thing in Elden Ring which also happens to be the least understood and most secret mechanic.

If you want to try it out yourself then look for "Golden Eyes on everything" on Nexusmods, I made a mod out of this.
Modding is obviously just PC so this is for the few people that actually would care.
