The park is located in Yamanouchi, Nagano Prefecture west of Tokyo, and is by no means a straightforward place to get to, but IS well worth the effort.

After fighting our way through Tokyo station to catch a Shinkansen to Nagano, uur trips gets off to a rough start with a missed connection, but in the end the day works out to be a great success.
