Come with us as we build a quick, easy, and affordable DIY chick brooder while we prepare for around 30 chicks expected to hatch this weekend 🐥

In this video, we’ll show you how we turned a simple 50 gallon storage tote into the perfect chick brooder using hardware cloth and zip ties. This setup is great for baby chicks, but it also works really well as a quarantine or isolation setup for sick chickens that need supportive care.

We love this setup because it’s inexpensive, easy to clean, customizable, and perfect for temporary indoor brooding.
