Caramel Corn
Ingredients:
1 bag of popped popcorn
1 cups light brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup butter
1/8 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 200
- Combine sugar, maple syrup, butter, cream of tartar and salt in a medium pot over medium heat
- Stir constantly and bring to a boil for 5 minutes
- Take off heat and whisk in the baking soda
- Pour this mixture over the popcorn and mix it so the sauce is evenly distributed on the popcorn
- Put all the popcorn onto a baking sheet
- Bake at 200 degrees for an hour mixing the popcorn every 20 minutes
- Take out, let cool and enjoy
- Storage: store in an air tight container
