Tragedy on the farm | Predator ruthlessly kills 3 CWC hens | Frustrated

Early morning phone call from neighbor: "There's a coyote in your chicken pen!" I looked out the window as the sun rose over the hills, and I saw white feathers strewn all over the yard. My wife yelled out the door and chased the coyote away as I quickly got my boots on. I found a hole in the chicken fencing that the coyote had chewed, just big enough to get his skinny rear end into the pen. How he ended up getting 3 of the white chickens i don't know. Sort of like CWC (crazy white chicken) of Lumnah Acres fame. RIP CWC!
