Rajon Rondo injury is trending again. The veteran has a habit of hurting his hands and this time it came at the worst time. The Lakers are practicing in the NBA Orlando bubble getting ready for the NBA season to resume. First there’s the NBA seeding games before the NBA playoffs. Rondo will be out for the Lakers for about 8 weeks. That means he’ll be back in time for the second round of the postseason but his absence will highlight the real issue with LeBron James’ team. They need a secondary playmaker. When LeBron is off the court the Lakers’ offense takes a nosedive. This has been an issue all year and it will be even more apparent once games begin. Rob Pelinka had the chance to make a move at the trade deadline but did not want to pay the price - now LeBron’s legacy will pay that price instead.
