The new AI Landscape masks, Denoise, Generative Fill … all super powerful, but also pretty demanding. On older laptops, these tasks can take forever.
With the ASUS ProArt P16 and NVIDIA RTX, everything runs fast and smooth – even with complex edits.
In my experience, masks have one of the biggest impacts on the final image. I use them to darken unimportant areas and guide the viewer’s eye toward the brighter parts – it can completely changes the feel of a photo.
Also: try AI Denoise at around 20–30, works also great on older drone shots that look a bit soft or slightly shaky when zoomed in.
If your image has a lot of noise (for example wildlife images you took in the morning or evening), you can push it higher – up to 50 still looks great. Beyond that, it can start to feel a bit too artificial.
👉 Just try different values on your photos and see what works best.
These new AI tools can save you a huge amount of time – what used to take forever with manual masking and selections now happens in seconds.
But only if your laptop is fast enough to keep up.
