The video shows a feed pellet mill transforming various farm raw materials into uniformly sized animal feed pellets. An operator feeds different types of crops directly into the machine, achieving on-the-spot processing of the raw materials.

⚙️ Inputting Raw Materials: The operator puts three distinct types of raw materials into the machine's top feeding hopper:

Fresh grass/silage: Provides vitamins and some moisture.
Dry wheat straw: Provides crude fiber.
Whole corn cobs: Provide energy (from the kernels) and additional fiber (from the cob).

⚙️ Pelletizing Process: The mixed powder is forced by powerful rollers into a ring die perforated with small holes. During this process, the immense pressure and heat from friction cause changes in the material's lignin and starch, which act as natural binders, compacting the powder and extruding it into cylindrical pellets.

Making various raw materials into pellet feed serves three main purposes: ensuring balanced nutrition by preventing livestock from selectively eating only their preferred ingredients; improving digestibility, as the high-temperature and high-pressure process gelatinizes some of the starch, making it easier to absorb; and facilitating storage and transportation while reducing waste.
