In this video I talk about the mental and emotional struggles that I went through during my first year back home after living in South Korea for 5 years. Everyone always says to prepare for reverse culture shock, but what about facing a life that you are trying to reinsert yourself into when everything else has moved on? Dealing with unfinished issues that were never fully confronted beforehand. All this in addition to COVID-19 putting everything in a standstill. I think this is a much needed conversation that rarely is talked about.
