Spazz, Despise You and Slap A Ham were gamechangers for me back in the 90s, and I'm happy to see that they're arguably more popular than ever now.

A few of the things I touch on in this video:

- The larger 90s cultural trends that laid the ground for them: the rise of rap, the crossover of metal and hardcore, graffiti exploding in both LA and the Bay Area, and skateboarding falling in love with both hip hop and graffiti (eg, the US and BTM graffiti crews)
