The Kashmiri Who Never Left | The Long Story

This episode of the Long Story brings to you the plight of the religious minorities in Jammu & Kashmir. As Militancy erupted in Jammu & Kashmir 29 years ago, hundreds and thousands of Hindus were forced to flee the Kashmir valley. Today approximately 3000 Hindus, commonly known as the Kashmiri Pandits are living across the valley. Some families chose to stay on despite the neighborhood turning into a ghost town and few others decided to return early on.
