This Tiny Abarth-Simca Growls Like a Beast!

Filmed at the world-famous Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Cernobbio, this is the 1963 Abarth-Simca 1300 GT in full motion. Its 1.3L inline-four — engineered entirely by Abarth — growls with serious intent as it powers past.

Unlike earlier Abarth builds based on Fiat internals, the Abarth-Simca was a true thoroughbred, created under contract with Simca using only the basic chassis of the Simca 1000. The rest? Pure Abarth performance — including a twin-spark engine, long nose, and aerodynamic Kamm tail added later by Abarth Corsa.
