Lester asks Franklin to meet him at Del Perro Pier for an opportunity.
There, Lester explains his method of manipulating the stock market. His plan is simple: he buys stock from Betta Pharmaceuticals at a low price, then has the CEO of their rival company assassinated. This causes Betta Pharmaceuticals' stock price to rise dramatically, allowing him to sell at a much higher value.

At first, Franklin is hesitant to go along with the plan. However, Lester reveals that the CEO knowingly allowed the production of pills that caused heart attacks, ignoring the consequences for profit. With this information, Franklin finally agrees. He heads to the hotel where the CEO is expected to appear. When the time is right, Franklin eliminates the target and escapes the area.

After completing the job, Franklin calls Lester to confirm that it's done. Pleased with the outcome, Lester mentions that their investment portfolio is becoming "a little successful." As a result, he has purchased a house in Vinewood Hills. Lester then tells Franklin that, for tax purposes, he needs someone to live in the house and offers it to him. Franklin is both surprised and ecstatic to receive an entire property for free. He is also relieved that he no longer has to live with his eccentric and overbearing aunt, Denise.
