DISTRESSED BUTTERFLY LOCS | No Crochet Method | Beginner Friendly

Hey Everyone!

I really loved this style when I did it over my locs many months ago and I wanted to do it again but with a different method! I've seen this method mainly done with Marley hair to extend the locs but the kanekalon hair was what I had already on hand! I think the Marley hair gives you the friction you need for the loc to hold together much better than the kanekalon hair though, so keep that in mind!

I used 4 packs of the braiding hair and 3 packs (3 bundles in each pack) of the water wave hair! Got them both at my local beauty supply store :)
