How to Hebrides 2 - Getting there, ferries, driving, cycling

Today we look at ferries to the Outer Hebrides, including a detailed look at all the routes between the islands and mainland:
Isle of Lewis: Ullapool to Stornoway
Isle of Harris: Uig to Tarbert
Isle of North Uist: Uig to Lochmaddy
Isle of South Uist: Mallaig to Lochboisdale
Isle of Barra: Oban to Castlebay

We look at checking in, and also the onboard experience aboard a CalMac Ferry.

We then look at routes to and from the main ports in Scotland, including which road to avoid if towing a caravan or driving a larger Motorhome.

Then we move on to driving on the island's roads. What is it like to drive on a single track road? How is it best to use passing places? And what about cycling the Hebridean Way - what is it like to cycle on the roads in the Outer Hebrides?
