Tonight we reviewed the Rolex Yachtmaster 2 Oystersteel Reference 116680-0002. The Rolex Yachtmaster 2 Oystersteel Reference 116680-0002 has a 44 mm dial and a 72-hour power reserve. With the caliber 4161 and 360 moving parts, this is one of the most complicated Rolex timepieces. I believe only the Rolex Skydweller is more complicated. The Rolex Yachtmaster II is a comfortable watch and is quite good for diving with a 100-meter depth. Rolex is legendary for making quality dive watches after all. They did, in fact, perfect and mass-produce the first waterproof watch.

The Rolex Yachtmaster 2 is more common to source on the new and used market. But, it's still not easy to find. In the wild, I've only seen one other guy rocking a Yachtmaster 2. You would be lucky to find one at your local AD. This Rolex Yachtmaster 2 Chronograph comes with box, booklets, warranty card, and an extra link. It is a full kit.

Rolex Yachtmaster 2 Oystersteel Reference 116680-0002 retails for around $18,750 making it one of Rolex's high-end steel watches. This watch does make for a great daily because it’s subtle and comfortable. Its also quite heavy and feels of quality. It also goes with everything I personally wear for work.

The Rolex Yachtmaster II does do not shake, and just feel quality on the wrist. If you ever do have any issues, the watch comes with a 24-month warranty. This particular Rolex Yachtmaster 2 was made in in 2014, with the card dated December 23rd, 2014.

If you’re in the market for a Rolex Yachmaster 2 the best price to get into one would be between $12,500 to $14,000 or better for wear for free. If bought then, you should be able to enjoy the watch and either sell it or trade if for what you paid. These do go in EBay and Chrono 24 as if Oct. 2019 for $15k to $17k if newer, and as low as $12k for rough models. As I said, I paid up for mine because it was such a nice example. Beat paying $18,750 MSRP plus tax for a new Rolex Yachtmaster 2. While you may be able to negotiate a 10% discount, good luck with finding one in steel in late 2019.
