Afraid I Bought the Wrong Color...I Painted It Anyway!

I was almost too afraid to open the paint can. After picking out what I thought was a warm, toffee-toned color for my hallway, the swatch at the store had me convinced I'd made a huge mistake. But the paint was already ordered — so I decided to use it anyway.

In this video I'm tackling one of my many incomplete projects:
transforming a long hallway and stairwell from a strong blue into something warmer, moodier, and more us.

I'm using Sherwin Williams paint today and my goal was to select a warm taupe that pairs beautifully with the Iron Ore colored doors I want. I'll show you the full process, including my honest reaction when the color finally hit the wall.

But this video is also about something bigger than paint.

It's about those days when your energy is low, your to-do list feels impossible, and the only thing you can do is pick one thing and finish it. Because sometimes that's enough to turn your whole day around.
