Ranting about Charged DLC & In Game Purchases (In App Purchases)

So the thumbnail tells you everything about the video ahead. I have just gotten sick & tired of the way gaming has been turned into a vice that in my eyes is becoming an equivalent to gambling. I feel the way that micro-transactions & paid DLC are being levied on consumers is quite frankly despicable. The way in which it it being used as a rope to hang the consumer with other than the receiving an incomplete game, as is the way with console games. I think that in time, this whole pay to play type of business will be done with, and I will be very happy when that happens. It is sucking the life out of videogames, making the whole genre a mockery, depleting its status down to nothing but a handheld slots machine, in the case of these iPhone games. EA has alot to take responsibility for when it comes to this little trend. Hopefully they also see how destructive this potentially could be and also become pioneers in phasing out this style of gaming.
