6 The Desert Fox

These first books are some books on leadership that I love and often refer back to. This book, The weather fox is a great biography of Field Marshal Erwin Rommel written by Brigadier General Desmond Young who fought against him.
Here's a story about Rommel. Rommel was from the old school of German generals who camebefore the rise of Nazism. In an event in the North African desert, a detachment of Germans had surrounded a British detachment and captured their commanding officer. And the German officer in charge was handing over, held a pistol to his head and demanded him to command his detachment to surrender. Listen to hear the rest of the story and check out the book.
