A walk from Oxford Street to Trafalgar Square in London, October 2020. In my last video I looked at parts of the City of London, and noted how quiet it is these days after this October's tier 2 lockdown which restricts people from meeting indoors with anyone outside their social 'bubble' (family members, roughly) and with more than 6 people outdoors. So this week, I thought I'd take a look at the West End. The City is the financial and business district; the West End is the entertainment centre. How busy it is these days? This was recorded on a Monday - normally, of course, a busy working day. In a normal year, Oxford Street can expect to see some 8 million visitors: does it look like that now? Well, here's a clue: no, it does not look like that.

The walk starts at Oxford Street but takes in parts of Regent Street, Carnaby Street, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Chinatown and Trafalgar Square. And - by London standards - it is not all that busy.

This depends in part on whether I have had time to record videos in between going to work and living the rest of my life! Usually it runs like this:
- Sat or Sun: a vlog or sightseeing video at midday (UK time).
- Gameplay videos: typically at midday on weekdays, but only rarely these days.
- If I have something extra to post it usually appears at some random time :) I may livestream occasionally too.
