It runs in my blood!

“How did you learn to build? Did your dad teach you?” I get this question a lot! And no, it was actually the women in my family that were/are super handy! My great grandma used to reupholster furniture, paint and all kinds of things! Hell, she was even reroofing her own house at 80 years old and she was tiny and 4’10! 🤣 But she didn’t teach me, it just runs in my blood! I’ve learned from watching DIYers do projects on IG and FB! Then I tried projects on my own, researching if I don’t know how to do something, and making lots of mistakes along the way! Then getting better with each project and each mistake! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I share here to inspire women to try their hand at doing whatever it is they want to learn more about too!
