Vietnamese Pig's Ear Cookies Recipe (Bánh Tai Heo)

My friend May shared this fantastic recipe for popular traditional Vietnamese cookies with me, and I am thrilled to share it with you. These cookies are called pig's ear cookies because of their cute spiral shape and are such a treat!

Vietnamese pig's ear biscuits are crispy, sweet, and have a lovely hint of coconut and cacao. While you can bake them for a healthier option, these ones are deep-fried for extra crispiness. You can choose whichever method works best for you. I had so much fun making these, and I hope you will too!
