DadVice: How to be a Filipino Dad

Becoming a dad isn't easy. Becoming a Filipino dad or parent is even harder. You must be willing to go to the extreme in disciplining your kids. There are many similarities in child rearing practices in different cultures. One thing is for sure, it is challenging no matter what country you're from. There needs to be a balance between child development and discipline.

What are your child discipline methods? In this video, I show you the typical things Filipino parents do. Although, I personally don't hit or spank my kids, I try not to judge others. My dad, when he was around before the divorces, used to spank us but not my mom. She didn't believe in spanking and neither do I.
