'Hard to imagine' Putin 'quivering in his boots' when he meets Joe Biden: Kenny

It is "hard to imagine" Russian President Vladimir Putin will be "quivering in his boots" when he "confronts" US President Joe Biden in Geneva after the latter's series of "worrying" gaffes at the G7 and NATO meetings, says Sky News host Chris Kenny.

"Today is the day that US President Joe Biden will have a face-to-face summit with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Geneva," Mr Kenny said.

"This comes after President Biden made some more worrying gaffes at the G7 and NATO meetings, where he was anything but convincing.

"It is hard to imagine Vladimir Putin quivering in his boots about this confrontation."

Mr Kenny also spoke with Gray TV White House Correspondent Jon Decker on the Geneva Summit who said the top issue for President Biden was to find "predictability and stability" in the Russia and US relationship.

"Well he has one goal and that goal is stability and predictability in the relationship that the US has with Russia and right now that does not exist," Mr Decker said.

"And it doesn't exist because of the almost regular cyber attacks that have been taking place against the US which have been launched from inside Russia - those attacks have taken place almost on a regular basis.

"This is the top issue on the agenda for President Biden."
