Base64 Is Not Encryption — An Attacker Finds Your Password in Seconds #cybersecurity

Obfuscating a password is not the same as hashing it. This short shows how an attacker locates a username in a binary with `strings`, peeks at the surrounding bytes with `xxd` to find the obfuscated password, and then reverses a base64-encoded secret in one command.
