The Komatsu PC490HRD excavator is demolishing an old covered swimming pool in the city of Marl (Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany). The complete building has been demolished by VCC Verwertungs-Centrum Castrop GmbH & Co.KG.
The Komatsu PC490LC-10 HRD excavator is purposely built for demolition work. Weighing in at 65.950 kg, the PC490LC-10 HRD is powered by a Komatsu SAA6D125E-6A engine with a flywheel horsepower of 270 kW (362 HP).
