Massive Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich Challenge in Tulsa, Oklahoma!!

A&Z #847 - Randy Santel "Atlas" vs The Massive Grilled Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich Challenge at The Hamlet in Tulsa, Oklahoma!! On Monday, August 3, 2020, I kicked off my 2020 Southeast USA Tour and started by doing 5 delicious newer food challenges in the state of Oklahoma, before heading southeast through Arkansas and onward. For challenge #1, I went to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attempt the new massive grilled hot ham and cheese sandwich challenge at The Hamlet which is known all around the Tulsa area for their honey-kissed ham sandwiches along with their tasty ham and beans. This was my first grilled hot ham and cheese sandwich challenge ever and the owners Ron and Shannon have both been watching our videos for many years, so it was awesome to get there and help support their restaurant and efforts by kicking off this challenge for them. I had 1 hour to finish a giant 5lb ham and cheese sandwich with 3lbs of honey-kissed grilled ham with cheese and healthy vegetables on a 2lb Brioche bun. That came with 1lb of their ham and beans plus 2 pieces of homemade cornbread and lots of home-cooked chips. I was trying to win my $50 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, a spot on their Wall of Fame, and naming rights to the challenge. Thanks to Ron, Shannon, and everyone with The Hamlet for the wonderful food and hospitality!! The Hamlet's Massive Ham and Cheese Sandwich Challenge in Tulsa, Oklahoma ($50):

- The Hamlet in Tulsa, Oklahoma specializes in serving delicious honey-kissed ham items!!
- The main feature of this challenge is a 5+ pound grilled hot ham and cheese sandwich.
- There is 3lbs of honey-kissed ham topped with lots of cheese plus lettuce and tomatoes.
- There is a freshly baked 2lb Brioche bun and each side is spiraled with honey mustard.
- The challenge includes 1lb of their ham and beans plus 2 pieces of homemade cornbread.
- There is also a handful of home-cooked chips and there is a 1 hour time limit to finish it all.
- Winners get the $50 meal free, a sweet Hamlet t-shirt, and a spot on their new Wall of Fame!!
- The first winner of this challenge gets to name the challenge, which is what I wanted to do!!
