I’ve been living in Vancouver for about 4-5 years now. In that amount of time your reference of what’s considered “normal” changes. Now when I hear an apartment is $2.5 million, I don’t even bat an eye. $10M for a house? Yeah that’s normal.

Renting in Vancouver is also expensive & if you want to buy a house, most people end up buying outside of the city or in neighbouring towns. The cottage we bought is 6 hours outside of the city and it still cost well over a half a million dollars (which is more than i ever imaged i would spend on a first home)

So sometimes it’s nice to step outside of your bubble and get new perspectives on how people live in different places, where they live & what they do. So in this video, that's exactly what we're doing!
