Battery Prices are Getting Ridiculous

I've used many different brands of car batteries over the years. Diehard, Duralast, Interstate, Exide, Deka, Champion, Ac Delco, just to name a few.. None really stand out as being an incredible go to battery to me, so why are they getting so damn expensive! A basic flooded lead acid battery costs around 200 bucks! Because of this I've really been gravitating towards Walmart for batteries lately. What's your favorite aftermarket battery and how long has it lasted for you?
