Robotics PhD Logs: Katherine Skinner

Katherine Skinner will become one of the first PhD graduates from the University of Michigan Robotics Institute.

Katherine's main work is on improving perception of underwater vehicles in the DROP Lab to give us better insight into what's below the surface, but has found her research also applies to perception for autonomous cars.

In this installment of the Michigan Robotics PhD Logs series, Katherine fills us in on how she's experienced Michigan Robotics' tagline, "Work together, create smart machines, serve society."
