Forest Floor | A walk In The Woods and A Miniature Crumb Quilt | October Stitch Along Part 1

Let's create a Forest Floor. In today's video I'll take you on a walk in the woods and then we'll create a miniature crumb quilt as a background to our October Stitch Along. This is Part 1.

In October we are taking inspiration from the mushrooms and fungi that are springing up and out everywhere we look. It's a time to get our wooly jumpers and boots out, enjoy the cooler air and misty mornings and crunch our way through the fallen leaves. Woodlands are at their best in Autumn - there is so much to discover if you look carefully.

We are going to create a mushroom panel this month, but first, we need a base for them to grow out of. I am going to use all of my earthiest scraps to create a crumb quilt. There's also an impromptu poetry lesson along the way if that sounds like fun!
