The French and Indian War with Fort Loudoun, Va & Regional Forts

This is a serious educational presentation I developed to raise awareness about the French and Indian War, Fort Loudoun, Va., George Washington and the conflict on the Western Virginia colonial frontier. I have made a couple small corrections/ changes over earlier versions. It should appeal to folks with an interest, but not necessarily a high level of prior knowledge about the conflict. This is a great tool to use in school classrooms or at home to educate students about the conflict. As a supplemental learning tool, I have created a Kahoot game, with photos all slides, where people or families can test their retention of the material in a fun way. This presentation borrows heavily from and is aligned with the WV 8G History Textbook - West Virginia: Its Land, Its People, by Author Vicki Wood & Mr. Lankford, at Clairmont Press.
