It may have been 4 months…since I last filmed a painting Ghibli scenes video and you have no idea how much I actually missed these types of videos 🥲 if you ask for excuses I would say procrastination, art block and lack of motivation are the culprits of why I didn’t feel like painting much but I’m glad that I’m slowly overcoming these factors and starting to paint again because it feels amazing truly ✨since I really missed making these types of videos I wanted to dedicate one just for Ghibli and here it is!! I mentioned it in the video already but it’s a painting that consists of 2 movies (can you guess???) and I actually got inspired to paint this exact scene after seeing an artist on deviantart so you might like to check out his version as well ,, I’ll leave the link down below. P.s. I did use my own references as well from the Ghibli movies.
Also,, this is a gift for a dear friend of mine (it was her birthday already) so a very belated gift…and I cant get myself to leave this precious artwork but its a normal struggle of mine because it’s always difficult to separate yourself from your precious artworks right? I really enjoyed painting this and will definitely paint it again ✨myself✨ and to keep it to myself so I’m already looking forward to it.
