Law enforcement officers put on that uniform every day, knowing they are putting a target on their back. They head out into the streets, not knowing what the day or night might bring. Day after day, week after week, year after year, and even decade after decade, they still put the uniform on. With a society that’s divided and hateful, it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to do their job every day. Yet, what do they do? They still put the uniform on… for you and me. Why? Because they care about the families that live in their community, including their very own.
