Fire Bellied Toad Bioactive Paludarium Build

This is my third Paludarium build. May 2020 my interest peaked in this hobby when my daughters were interested in the wild frogs calling at night. Fire Bellied Toads seemed like the best addition to our animal family. Little did I know they are difficult to find, but luckily we got 2 babes and 2 tadpoles. They are currently in a 10 gallon paludarium and are thriving.

Knowing they would eventually need a bigger home I started to gather supplies. This build took about 2 weeks. I plan to let the plants acclimate for a month or so before adding the frogs.

Huge shout out to Tanner @SerpaDesign His videos taught me everything I know. I know this video isn’t as put together as his, but I attempted to document and explain as much as I could.
