Insatiable (The Lover) - Darren Hayes (HD)

The video is from Jean-Jacques Annaud’s film, The Lover (released in 1992), one of the best love stories ever made. It is based on the book by acclaimed French author Marguerite Duras, who wrote candidly about her own, real-life experience in Saigon, Vietnam (then part of French Indochina, now called Ho Chi Minh City) in the early 30’s, in the L’Amant (The Lover) with her racially-forbidden affair with a Chinese man, 12 years her senior; both searching for identity and meaning through passion.

The translation from book to film is touchingly accurate. This song seems to best match the intensity of this relationship.
