I Was Struggling After University… Until I Did This

I bumped into someone from university today that I hadn’t seen in over 5 years… and it made me reflect on how much life can change.

After university, I felt completely lost.

I struggled to find work, dealt with rejection after rejection, applied for over 500 jobs, and went through a lot of self-doubt as I tried to figure out where I fit in.

In this video, I break down the exact steps I took to slowly rebuild my career:

* studying online courses through Google, Coursera, and HubSpot
* improving my resume with professional help
* researching jobs and industries through LinkedIn
* learning new skills like marketing, analytics, websites, and content creation
* applying consistently, even when things felt hopeless

Eventually, those small steps helped me land agency work and later become a Social Media Specialist working at a university.

This isn’t a “perfect success story.” It’s just my real experience — and hopefully it helps someone out there who feels stuck right now.
