Ingredients

Filling:
-3 apples
-1/2 a lime
-1 tbsp butter
-1/4 cup sugar
-1 tbsp cornstarch
-1 tsp cinnamon
powder

Dough:
-1 egg
-1/4 cup oil
-1 tsp vanilla
-1/2 cup sugar
-1. 1/2 cup flour
-1/2 tsp baking powder

Instructions:-
Take 3 big apples, wash, peel & finely slice them as shown. Heat a pan, add butter and sliced apples. Now add brown sugar & mix well (you could also use white sugar) Add a tbsp cornstarch & combine it well. Filling for the pie is ready set aside.

In a bowl add egg, sugar & vanilla essence, whisk till the sugar dissolves. Add oil and mix for 2 mins. In flour add baking soda & gradually add the flour to mixture. Knees the flour into a soft dough. The dough is ready wrap the half dough as shown & freeze for 15 minutes.
Roll out the pie dough as shown, transfer the rolled dough in a dish of your choice. Press with hands as shown. Poke with the fork so the dough doesn't rise.
Add the filling evenly, take the dough from the refrigerator & grate evenly. Brush on the egg wash, sprinkle cinnamon powder & sugar. Bake at 180 C for 30-35 minutes. Apple pie is ready to serve.
