Prepping for Hurricane Season if YOU are Pregnant & in Labor | Emergency Preparedness with a Midwife

As the CajunStork, you may have already figured out that I live in Cajun Country- South Louisiana. As Hurricane Barry approaches my hometown today, a Facebook post of an old wives tale regarding Barometric Pressure from Hurricanes and it's potential to kickstart labor went viral in my area. In less than 24 hours my community was filled with huge and largely false fears about being pregnant during a hurricane. I decided to tackle this topic in a Facebook Live video. In today's video we discussed several very important topics that pregnant woman need to know if they are experiencing a hurricane in their area.
