How Systems Thinking Equips Our Children for a Complex World A Discussion

In our last event with Dr. Laura and Derek Cabrera, we explored the ways to integrate systems thinking into primary education, as a focused lens. However, that is only part of the equation of the environments our children encounter in their day-to-day lives. As we try to affect the leverage points across the primary education landscape, we as parents, caregivers, and families are another key part of the equation to help better prepare our children for an ever changing world.

In this 1-hour discussion hosted by the Si NYC hub, we have invited Dr. Laura and Derek Cabrera back for a part 2 discussion. They will share their experience and thoughts on how to help parents, caregivers and families to better prepare not only ourselves but also our children for a complex future. They are renowned systems thinking scientists who serve on the faculty of Cornell University and founded the Cabrera Research Lab.
