Driving to Lillehammer on a BEAUTIFUL summer day, 4K Cabview in Norway

Come take a cab ride on the train with me and see a train driver's view of the railway journey from Oslo to Lillehammer, Norway. This cabview from up front of the train was filmed during the height of the norwegian summer, and the views are just stunning.

I am getting a lot of trips to Lillehammer this summer it seems, and wow is it a great line to drive on during this time of the year. A lot of the other lines near Oslo are closed for maintenance, but fortunately not this one. So let's take a ride on my favorite line in my favorite train, the Stadler FLIRT Type 74.

We leave Oslo by heading up the Bryn slope into the Romerriksporten. On our left you can see the old main line, now used by the commuter service L1 and freight trains. After exiting the tunnel we arrive at Lillestrøm, where we meet up with the main line coming down on our right hand side. Leaving Lillestrøm we travel in paralell with the main line once again, now being serviced by the L13 to Dal. Right before we leave you can also see the Kongsvinger Line snaking away to the right.

I've tried my hand at a new style of intro for this video, as always I'd love to hear your feedback. Recording it was really hard as Monster, our cat, kept complaining that I was talking out loud, but not to her xD
