I Built a Smart Plant Watering System with a Touchscreen Brain

I built an automatic plant watering system using a gravity-fed reservoir, 12V solenoid valves, and an ESP32 touchscreen interface powered by the LVGL library. This DIY setup lets me configure exactly how much water each plant gets—daily or weekly—right from the screen.

It's cheap (~$80), reliable, and fully customizable. No pumps. No cloud service. Just smart hardware and clever software.

In this video, I walk through:
– My design goals
– The full parts list & cost breakdown
– Electrical schematics & system flow
– Challenges I faced (touchscreen issues, clogged valves, etc.)
– Final demo of the working system

💡 Whether you're a maker, a plant nerd, or just tired of forgetting to water your plants—this project might inspire your next build.
