Auto Light On/Off Circuit Using LDR | DIY Light Sensor Project

In this video, I’ll show you how to build a simple yet effective automatic light control system using an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor). This circuit detects darkness in a room and automatically turns on a bulb, and when there's enough light, it switches the bulb off—perfect for saving energy and adding convenience!

🔧 Components Used:

LDR (Light Sensor)

Transistor (e.g., BC547)

Relay Module

Bulb & Holder

Resistors & Connecting Wires

Power Supply

💡 How It Works:
The LDR changes its resistance based on light intensity—when it's dark, the resistance increases, triggering the transistor and relay to turn on the bulb. When light is detected, the resistance drops, turning the bulb off automatically.

👍 Perfect For:

Bedrooms & Corridors

Porch Lights

Energy-saving projects

Electronics beginners
