Government Regulation of Video Games is VERY RISKY - Dear SidAlpha

The topic is complex, and I have never been, or ever will be an "ally" of triple-A publishers... but having learned how interconnected the industry is through a spiderweb of complex interactions... its become obvious to me that clumsy governmental intervention is an extremely risky, and possibly an outright problematic thing.

In essence, it would speed up a trajectory that NEEDS to take place, but if done improperly... and there is a high probability it could be done improperly... it would have far-reaching negative ramifications.

SidAlpha had the nerve to say that my take was "one of the weakest and most terrible he has ever seen" and then proceeded to give a pathetic justification, with contradictions, backpedalling, and pivots around a premise of what he THINKS I MIGHT have meant while interpreting, and reading between the lines of nonexistent points that he pretends are reality. That is not the strategy needed at an official FTC loot box summit, far from it.

When has the government doing something ever been bad... amirite?
