Soviet IP-4M Rebreather

Soviet IP-4M Rebreather sent to me by Beastoree.
The Soviet IP-4 and IP-4M rebreathers are land based rebreathers used by the Soviet Union and probably the Warsaw PACT.
Rebreathers scrub exhaled air and essentially recycle it, meaning you can work in zero oxygen environments for a long time.
Some rebreathers can be used underwater others cannot, I am unsure if this mask works safely underwater so DO YOUR RESEARCH!

As always regarding rebreathers do not use them unless you are properly trained and understand the risks, you could easily die through misuse of a rebreather so these are not toys.
They are a cool conversation piece though.
