Hangar 9 P51 MKII PTS "Electric Conversion" Maiden Flight

All in all this was a really boring flight. I had to keep my circuits very tight because of the battle wings going crazy just to my left. Also being an initial test flight I didn't want to do anything crazy. Just make sure she flies and get a feel for how responsive she is. Also as you can hear in the video, it was windy, gusting over 20mph (32Kph).

The rest of the plane is totally stock I had to ream out the prop and spinner to fit on the massive prop adapter. According to the data log feature in the ESC it draws 77Amps at full throttle. Might be a little too much current for the XT60 connector to the battery.

To Do list as of the making of this video:
1. Reenforce the firewall
2. Work out a better prop/spinner combo
3. Make sure prop/spinner combo are well balanced
4. Change to higher current connectors on the battery(s) & ESC.
