If you own a Makita MLT 100, an upgraded fence is very much essential as the original fence is wobbly and shorter in length which compromises the accuracy of cuts. I am using this upgraded fence in all my rip cutting requirements and since then, I am fully satisfied with the results.

Below are the Material / Hardware list, which I have used in this project.

1. 40 X 80 MM Aluminum extruded profile, 830 MM length - 1 No.
2. 40 X 40 MM (45X45 recommended as per Part 2 of this video) Aluminum extruded profile, 765 MM length - 1 No.
3. M6 X 40 MM (M6 X 45 MM as per Part 2 of this video) Hexagonal Bolts and Nuts - 6 No.
4. M6 Spring washer - 6 No.
5. M10 X 110 MM Hexagonal Bolt- 1 No.
6. M10 Washer - 2 No.
7. M10 Eye Nut - 1 No.
8. M6 X 70 MM Hexagonal Bolt - 2 No.
9. M8 Washer - 2 No.
10. Profile Seal strips - 6 Meter
11. 40 X 80 End Caps - 2 No.
12. 40 X 40 (45 X 45 as per Part 2 of this video) End Cap - 2 No.
13. Profile Handle with Allen head bolt and nut - 1 No.

The Table saw fence is made of Aluminum extruded profile, These profiles are rigid and strong. With having the fence clamped at both the ends, it makes it even more steady during cuts,
